The chemical name of Yohimbine is Methyl 17alpha-hydroxy-yohimban-16alpha-carboxylate hydrochloride and its chemical formula is C21H26N2O3. It has a molecular formula of 354.4 [g/mol].

Yohimbine is indicated to cure impotency. It is also indicated as an aphrodisiac and a mild hallucinogen. In veterinary preparations, it is considered to be beneficial for reversal of xylazine-induced anesthesia in animals.

Yohimbine is contraindicated for individuals with a history of renal, cardiac or hepatic ailments. Food products and stimulants such as phenylephrine and phenylpropanolamine that contain tryamine must be avoided while Yohimbine is used.

Yohimbine can be used in the form of tablets, either as a sole ingredient or in a combination with other ingredients meant for human usage.

Some of the possible side-effects of Yohimbine include anxiety, diarrhea, hallucinations, increased mucous secretion, genital pain, and manic reactions.

Dose
Start on 0.25ml (25mg) per day and could be increased to a 0.75ml (75mg) per day
